Cooler Master unveils their new lineup of Gaming Peripherals

CK Series Keyboards

Between its floating keycap design and durable mechanical keys, theCK550unleashes a world of victories.Mechanical switches life spanned at 50 million+ key strokes makes the CK550 a reliable companion for the long haul and will be available in blue, brown, and red switch types depending on regional availability. SK Series Keyboards

Cooler Master will debut its SK line consisting of three different keyboards: SK620, SK630, and SK640. This line features unique Cherry MX low profile switches, alluring brushed aluminum top plate, RGB illumination, Type C detachable cable, and LED light bar that frames the keyboard, all packed in a minimalistic design. The SK620 is a 60% compact layout ideal for travel and LAN parties. The SK630 is an 80% compact layout with an all new software application while the SK650 is a 100% 104 key layout also with all new software application. Expect to see the new additions during Q4 of this year and Q1 of next year.

Audio

Cooler Master will display its upcoming gaming headsets the MH751 and MH752 that debuted for the first time during PAX East 2018. Both headsets feature pleather ear cushions and headband with high density foam for superior comfort, lightweight construction, high quality Omni-directional boom microphone for easier position and crystal clear communication, fold-flat design ideal for the LAN traveler, durable braided cable, and multi-platform capability to be used on various consoles, PC, and mobile devices. The MH752 also features USB connection for PC, virtual 7.1 surround sound with an in-line control box to easily control audio volume, microphone volume, microphone mute, and surround sound button switch. Lastly, Cooler Master will highlight the MH710, an aluminum housing with brushed surface in ear headphones equipped with FocusFXtechnology. Cooler Master Launches a series of new Cases at COMPUTEX 2018

MasterCase SL600M
The MasterCase SL600M kicks off the “SL” series in the highest segment. Chimney-based heat regulation is an efficient way to blend together silent technology with gaming performance. Cooling for the vertical layout intakes air on the bottom and exhausts air through the top panel. The use of aluminum was a design choice that enables the MasterCase SL600M to be a sophisticated work station with the capability of being built for high performance gaming.

MasterCase H500M

The MasterCase H500M sits at the highest end of the H-Series, offering the highest amount of features within the series. Options for the front panel, PSU shroud, cable covers, and radiator compatibility allow builders to configure at will. The empowerment of component choice and abundant support ensures that systems will look their best when built inside a MasterCase H500M.


MasterCase H500
The MasterCase H500 is the straightforward choice in the series with two iconic, 200mm fans. Although this is the lowest-pricedcase within the lineup, both the transparent front panel and mesh panel are included to offer a choice between aesthetics and maximum airflow. Each of the front panel options compliment the industrial design of the MasterCase H500 in their own method. To enable the case to be moved more easily, a subtle handle has been placed on the top panel.

MasterBox MB511 & MasterBox MB520


With the MasterBox MB511, airflow is the priority with a mesh front panel accompanied by the signature intakes seen within the series. The racing spirit is found throughout the series with a variety of aesthetics and functions based on preferences per model.

MasterBox MB530P
The MasterBox MB530P utilizes the aggressive intakes seen on the MB510L, MB511, and MB520, but employs glass on both of the side panels and the front panel. The application of glass was put in place to support the display of addressable RGB components included with the chassis. The racing spirit remains with the MasterBox MB530P, but offers a few extras. The front panel and side panel offer a clear view of the front fans and system configuration, while the side panel behind the motherboard is patterned tempered glass to hide the open side of the PSU.

MasterBox K500P
Cooler Master’s new fine mesh feature unique characteristics and qualities on the MasterBox K500P. The mesh is three dimensional and can be shaped to compliment bold, rugged designs but it also refracts light differently than conventional mesh. The fans and PSU shroud are outfitted with addressable RGB.

MasterBox MB500 TUF Gaming Edition

 
The TUF Gaming Alliance is a collaborative effort between ASUS, Cooler Master, and other brands to create a line of products for an aesthetically cohesive gaming PC. Marked by the TUF Gaming spirit, the MasterBox MB500 is a perfect addition to any (TUF Gaming) setup. A PSU cut out was designed to make the MasterWatt TUF Gaming Edition visible through the glass side panel. Military styling, complete with camouflage, outfits the case as a battle-ready soldier.


Case Mods
The Cooler Master booth will of course have mod projects on display. One such mod will be a collaboration project with modder,Nhenhopiohach, featuring a special modular design that was originally entered into the PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds™ BATTLEMODS Asia Tour 2017 with Project Crosshairs. Platinum #295: The Walking Dead (JP PS3)

Hey there!

Finally, I found the time to play the Japanese PS3 version of this game. In my opinion, the first season is still the best.

What is the game all about?

The Walking Dead has been released by Telltale Games in 2012. It was one of their first episodic games.

You take control over Lee Everett, who is a convicted murderer. You’re sitting inside a police car on your way to prison when hell breaks loose. The car crashes and you can barely escape. Shortly after, you encounter your first Walkers (Zombies) and a little girl called Clementine. You take care of Clem and your adventure start.

To survive, you must make some tough decisions. Be careful, even the smallest decision might have a big impact later in the game.

What about trophies?

You don’t have to worry about trophies at all. All of them are story-related and will unlock as you progress through the game.

What’s special about the Japanese PS3 version is, that it doesn’t include the annoying 400 Days DLC.

Where can I get this game?

The Japanese PS3 version of The Walking Dead isn’t available in the JP PSN store. The only way to get it is to buy a physical version. You can try your luck at solarisjapan.comor at play-asia.com.

Platinum #293+294: Sir Eatsalot (EU / NA & AS)

Hey there!

A game that uses the rear touchpad of the Vita? Haven’t seen that in a while.

What is the game all about?

You are Sir Eatsalot and it’s your task to save Gluttington from the witch Hysterica. The witch has poisoned the Isotonic Waters with sour lemonade and the kingdom is about to be destroyed. So, you jump, fight and eat your way through this 2D adventure.

The game has a funny story and very nice hand-drawn graphics. As it is exclusively made for PS Vita, it uses all of its features (touchscreen, camera, rear touchpad…). Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that well. Whenever you must use the rear touchpad, you and up hammering your fingers on it until it works. In the sections where you need the camera, you must recalibrate it all the time to make it work.

Sir Eatsalot could have been a good game, if there weren’t the issues with the camera and the rear touchpad. Here you can clearly see why nearly none of the games make use of these features.

What about trophies?

The game has a lot of story-related and other unmissable trophies. Alas, there are also collectibles and trophies related to side quests, which can easily be missed. To ensure that you get all trophies in one run, use this walkthrough from playstationtrophies.org.

Asus unveils a 24-inch 240Hz gaming monitor that's all about speed

Nothing glamorous, just a really fast display.

Among the recent crop of 4K and HDR monitors that have shown up in the marketplace, Asus has quietly introduced the ROG Strix XG248Q, a more basic display that focuses almost entirely on speed.

The new display is sports a 23.8-inch TN panel with a 1920x1080 resolution, none of which sounds particularly exciting. However, it's the native (read: not overclocked) 240Hz refresh rate that Asus is hoping will appeal to fast-action gamers, along with an ultra-fast 1ms response time and FreeSync support.

"ROG Strix XG248Q is all about speed—making it the perfect monitor for esports and first-person shooters. This Full HD monitor is the fastest ever, with a 240Hz native refresh rate, 1ms response time, and Extreme Low Motion Blur technology for silky-smooth gameplay and ultra-realistic visuals," Asus says.

First-person shooters, racing simulations, and the esports category at large benefit the most from monitors with high refresh rates, if the graphics card(s) can keep up. Not that fast visuals alone will make anyone a better gamer, but it can certainly help in some situations.

The XG248Q has a max brightness rating of 400 nits. That's the baseline for a DisplayHDR 400 certification, though this is not an HDR display. It also features support for Asus' Aura Sync RGB lighting.

On the ergonomics side, users can adjust the height up to 120mm, swievel from +50 to -50 degrees, tilt the display +20 to -5 degrees, and pivot the monitor 90 degrees clockwise. Finally, display inputs include HDMI 2.0, HDMI 1.4, and DisplayPort.

Asus did not say when the ROG Strix XG248Q will be available or for how much.
