Apa sih arti NAT Type dalam PS4?

Network Address Translation (NAT) adalah suatu metode untuk menghubungkan lebih dari satu device ke jaringan internet dengan menggunakan satu alamat IP. Dalam PS4 NAT di bagi menjadi tiga yakni :

- NAT Type 1 (Terbuka)
- NAT Type 2 (Sedang)
- NAT Type 3 (Terbatas)

Tipe dari NAT ini bisa kita cek melalui PS4, pada menu Settings - Network - Internet Connection Status, untuk para pengguna indihome di Balikpapan kita akan lebih sering mendapat NAT Type 2 atau kadang-kadang dapat NAT Type 3.

Untuk pengguna layanan game online dan multiplayer NAT Type ini sangatlah penting, karena kalau PS4 kita mendapat NAT 3 maka kita tidak bisa voice chat, download game, update dll, jadi intinya saat kita mendapat NAT 3 ini layanan yang kita dapatkan dari PSN akan sangat dibatasi. NAT Type 3 kita dapatkan saat PS4 kita terhubung ke internet via modem atau router, namun hal ini kadang terjadi dikarenakan masalah IP yang kita dapat dari ISP.

Secara ideal kita pasti menganggap yang paling bagus adalah NAT Type 1, namun itu tidak sepenuhnya benar, memang benar secara layanan kita mendapatkan yang paling baik, bermain game online lebih lancar, sangat jarang disconnect dalam bermain multiplayer, biasanya ping ke server PSN lebih kecil, dan NAT 1 ini bisa terkoneksi dengan semua NAT Type 1,2 dan 3. Namun dengan konfigurasi NAT 1 ini membuat PS4 kita lebih terekspos di internet, sehingga bisa mengakibatkan masalah dalam keamanan jaringan. Orang iseng bisa langsung mengakses IP dari PS4 kita dan masuk ke dalamnya.

Menurut website-website terpercaya, NAT Type 2 sebenarnya yang paling ideal, Walaupun NAT 2 ini lebih lambat dan sedikit lebih banyak lag di banding NAT 1, karena kita menggunakan perantara router, jadi secara keamanan jaringan akan lebih aman dan ideal. Berhubung rata-rata user PSN mendapatkan NAT tipe ini jadi tentunya akan banyak saja user yang akan bisa berkomunikasi dengan sesama NAT 2.

NAT Type 3, merupakan yang paling dihindari, NAT 3 merupakan NAT dengan kemungkinan disconnect paling tinggi saat kita bermain multiplayer, lag yang tinggi dan koneksi ke server PSN sangat lambat dan tentunya yang paling parah adalah layanan yang kita dapatkan dari PSN akan dibatasi, seperti kita tidak bisa voice talk, update game, upload save game dll.

NAT Type ini sebenarnya juga dipakai di console lain, seperti Xbox One, Nintendo Switch dan 3ds, PS3, PS Vita dll. Untuk merubah tipe NAT sebenarnya bisa dilakukan, namun kita harus sedikit merubah konfigurasi pada router yang kita gunakan, mungkin setelah saya coba nanti akan saya buatkan panduannya, jika memang berhasil diterapkan.

100% #53+54: The Walking Dead: Michonne (PS3 & PS4)

Hey there!

After all the Platinum Trophies, I thought it’s time to get rid of some of my 100% games, which I have in my backlog. And why not saving time and playing two games at once?

What is the game all about?

First of all, it should be mentioned that The Walking Dead: Michonnedoesn’t have anything to do with the other games from Telltale’s The Walking Dead series. Instead, it follows the events of the comics and shows what happened to Michonne during her absence between episode 126 and 139.

You also learn a bit more of Michonne’s origin and backstory. But to be honest, for a huge The Walking Dead fan like me, this game is just one big disappointment. The story is lame and the new characters just suck. Luckily, there are only 3 episodes and the game can be finished in 3-4 hours.

What about trophies?

To unlock all 21 bronze trophies, you simply must play through the game. Most of the time you’re just watching cutscense, especially in episode 3. There are also a few quick time moments and choices to make. I wouldn’t bother too much about the choices as don’t affect any other games of this series.

Hey there!

What to play after Steins;Gate? Correct, Steins;Gate 0.

What is the game all about?

Steins;Gate 0 is the prequel / sequel / interlude of Steins;Gate. How can this be possible? Steins;Gate is about time traveling, so it makes sense in the end, if you follow the story.

Just like in any other VN, I simply skipped through the game and thus, can’t tell you much about the story. But from what I’ve heard it should be awesome. If you like the anime, you should like this game as well. If you’ve played the predecessor, you’ll meet a lot of familiar people.

What about trophies?

As in most VNs, the biggest task is to reach all endings. Every different ending will unlock a trophy and you’ll also get a trophy for reaching all endings. Then of course there are some other miscellaneous trophies like 100% CG or unlocking all tips. There’s this really good guideon ps3imports.org, with which you should be able to unlock all trophies in ~1 hours (with skipping).

This version of Steins;Gate 0 can be found in the JP PSN store or you can get a physical version of the game at play-asia.comor solarisjapan.com.

Platinum #240: Steins;Gate (NA Vita)

Hey there!

Stack 5/9 done. Maybe someday I’ll have played them all.

What is the game all about?

Steins;Gate is a Visual Novel (VN), which has been released in Japan already in 2013. 2015 it has been translated into English and since then it’s also available in EU / NA.

I was told that Steins;Gate is one of the best VNs. If you’re a fan of the Anime, or Animes in general, you’ll for sure enjoy reading. It’s all about time traveling and your choices really matter in this game, as they will have a high impact on the ending. And those choices are different from other VNs. You don’t have to choose from a few answers, instead you’ll receive e-mails and phone calls. Depending on your replies to the e-mails of accepting / declining a call, the story will change.

As it has been developed by 5bp., it also has small references to other VNs like Chaos;Head (Gero Froggies anyone?).

What about trophies?

As in most VNs, the biggest task is to reach all endings. Every different ending will unlock a trophy and you’ll also get a trophy for reaching all endings. Then of course there are some other miscellaneous trophies like 100% CG or unlocking some wallpapers. Especially the wallpapers can be quite tough if you don’t know what to do. Luckily, there are good guides available with which you’ll unlock the Platinum Trophy within 2-3 hours. Of course, only if you decide to skip through the game. For the EU and NA version I’d recommend using this guide from playstationtrophies.organd for every other version this guide from ps3imports.org. Both are perfect.

Where can I get this game?

If your main account is tied to the NA PSN store, you can simply download the NA Vita version from afore mentioned store. Otherwise you can buy this version at play-asia.com..

Platinum #239: グリザイアの果実 Side Episode

Hey there!

Up to now, this is the fastest Platinum Trophy I got. It took me less than 5 minutes! :-)

What is the game all about?

グリザイアの果実 Side Episode aka Grisaia No Kajitsu Side Episode is another game from the Grisaia series. It’s a Visual Novel (VN) and like in any other game from this series, I simply skipped through the whole game to get it done as fast as possible. Thus, I can’t tell you much about the story. But I think trophy hunters aren’t interested in the stories of VN at all.

What about trophies?

Skipping through the 3 short stories and entering the menus (CG, BMG…) is all you need to do. If you follow this guide from ps3imports.org, you can get the Platinum Trophy in under 5 minutes!
